ABOUT THE ARTIST
In 1998, with a 6-month trip to Africa on the horizon, I took a sketching class at a local community college in Seattle with the idea of keeping a sketchbook of my upcoming travels. This experience sparked my interest in making art and I continued taking classes and workshops over the next few years, exploring different media and techniques.

I have studied with many respected artists, including Bruce A. Gómez, Meredith Nemirov, Barry John Raybould, and many others. Recently, I also had the opportunity to participate in a painting retreat in the Canyon de Chelly with George Strickland. Many Telluride residents and skiers first became familiar with my work in 2004, when one of my pastel paintings appeared on the Telluride Ski Resort's 2004-2005 ski pass.

My studio is located in the Stronghouse Studios Artist's Co-op in Telluride, Colorado.  My work can be seen at the Local Walls Gallery in Telluride.
